Good to see it dip back under 20k. I actually thought it would be up WoW given the snow across the South East last Sun/Mon which no doubt stopped people getting tested, so a drop is a big bonus.

It's probably one of the smaller reductions in the 7 day average, but at least it's still falling.
Definitely. Snow actually most likely works in our favour as it keeps plenty of people indoors / reduces travel, and there's plenty of it forecast nationwide this week according to my phone.

If that vaccine number is the "low number" for the week, then there's going to be a massive week ahead, assuming it ramps up each day. We could hit near 3m vaccines for the week, the 15m by mid Feb looks a given (y)
If this week is like the previous few weeks then I whole heartedly agree.

I think government know the vaccine roll out has been successful too. What with Hancock predicting a great British summer for us all. Definitely a change in attitude from him for a start off.

Today marks the first day that the 7-day average for 1st dose vaccinations has exceeded the required rate to meet the 15 February target. Therefore, if they are able to replicate the past week for another fortnight, they will achieve their goal (just).

There were literally queues outside of the health centre over the road today. It's normally busy, but my missus said they were queued out of the car park and right along our road when she went to pick up our little one from Nursery. It's been busy most days but I've never seen it that heavy before
