If it's so easy why are they in power with an 80 seat majority??
because most people don't bother looking at the detail or the history and make judgements based on personality
Is everyone else in the country not as clever as you??
It isn't necessarily about being clever, it's about putting a bit of effort in to learn, most people are far more lazy than me, I like learning, I'm on a course right now that I paid for out of my own pocket. I like to learn, I like to analyse, I like to work things out a bit more than most people who are happy with at best a superficial understanding.
All I see is the lockdown party versus the harder, stricter, longer lockdown party and I don't see how ruining our kids education and future and putting millions of people on the dole is good for the 'everyman'.
Like I said some people really simplify things. If you think lockdown strategy is the only thing that matters then thats a failure of holistic thought and even a failure of understanding of pandemic handling and response.
The governments covid strategy has been a failure, they have killed 130k+ citizens through failure, they have harmed our economy, and their failures have meant deeper, longer and repeated lockdowns.
If you think that Labour want more lockdowns then you haven't paid attention at all. They called for lockdowns earlier, to stop getting into longer lockdowns. It's pretty obvious their strategy was control and contain, it was be proactive, rather than reactive like Cummings has confirmed today.
Failure to act is failure to govern and it's exactly what this government have done.
