Team "Boris"

Maybe, just maybe people who voted Tory weren't voting for Boris but a party that wasn't Labour.
No, because that would have led to a surge in all the other parties thatare not Labour, it was brexit wot won/lost it

I don't disagree with you on that. My point was that the vote was not a personal one for Boris as some folks are making out. But on reflection you are probably correct that it was a vote for Brexit that won it.

@BoroMart My point is, seeing the way the Labour party treats it's own members, why would anyone assume they would be any less corrupt in government than the tories are?

It's no good saying Labour are clean as a whistle because they didn't funnel PPE money to their mates. They weren't in a position to.

The evidence we've got of the way they conduct themselves isn't good I'm afraid.
...and all this "evidence" leads you to surmise that the stench of proven corruption in the Tory party is fine?

You'll have to let me know where I've said anything like that NYboro. I don't recall ever typing such a thing. What I actually said was:

The tories are handing public money to their mates and blatantly stitched up the report on institutional racism a few weeks ago.

All I'm saying is there is a stack of evidence of corruption within the Labour party against Labour members time and time again (the 2016 leadership election, the leaked doc, the missing Forde enquiry, Bristol West, selecting a candidate for Hartlepool). If that's what the party does to it's own most committed supporters whilst in opposition, why would anyone assume they would be any less corrupt in government?

they've had previous governments and they haven't squirreled billions to family and friends for no return

The current shadow cabinet? A handful I suppose but most haven't been part of any government. Unless your meaning just being in the Labour party somehow immunises you from any chance of being corrupt. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Besides the last Labour gov faked evidence to get parliament to support invading a country for resources. I'm not sure they're the best example to point to of honesty/integrity.

I said neither of those things. I said no member of a labour government have squirreled away billions to their mates. That's a fact, it's a fact that Johnsons Tory government aren't the only ones giving our money away to friends. Try a bit more honesty in your debate

It was Corbyn. He was the single largest factor as to why labour lost votes, more than brexit

Corbyn lost votes, and gained some, especially with the younger voters, time and time on the doorstep you heard people say they couldn't vote Labour because of their stance on brexit, that's why Labour did well in 17 but badly in 19 when the public rightly or wrongly perceived Labour to be blocking brexit.
Labour should have let the tories deal with the mess of brexit , it was after all their mess, a vote to keep the tory party together.
Too many own goals cost corbyn, which was a shame as lots of his polices were good and would have helped lead to a fairer society.
