Spence

They signed Sessengon (sp??) From Fulham when he was flying & after seasons in the reserves is only now getting game time.. Spence may just have to await injuries & cup games before he gets his chance.

I'm sure he's getting seen in training.
I mean we have £6m in strikers that are "development" players so not really a stretch that a bigger club would do similar

What and send Nico Williams back to Liverpool? I’d be shocked if that happened. That said I have no idea why Spurs bought him other than to stock their squad with players who have caught the eye. Sure seems like it wasn’t a Conte buy.
Conte was saying in an interview that his approach wasn't at the right level, although he was getting there - think he also mentioned Docherty in the same context too.

We know Djed's commitment can be a bit flaky and Conte doesn't strike me as a manager that will put his arm round players, not like Cooper does.

No he see;s a bloke miles away from the Spurs first choice team , which with his application he had here, he has gone into his " entitled" mode ........love to see what Gaz see;s that Conte does not ...........lots of forest players looked good last year ....not so much now !!!!!!!!!!!!

I couldn't give a toss whether he plays for them or not tbh. Big time Charlie who's been found out, he'll be back at a Championship club come January.
What's wrong with that? If he is he will still be on premier league wages and probably be playing at a club higher than us in the league. Hardly been found out, they've just bought him as a prospect like many clubs do.

I haven’t commented on his ability other than last season. I haven’t advocated him to be in the spurs team.

Who can really blame Spence going to a champions league club

Every football player backs their ability to able to break into the first team even if they are told they are sitting on the bench to start

Some see it as him just wanting to be in London taking a pay cheque we’re as other will see it that it went a took a challenge and one of the top sides in the country
For me he is the prime example of why this 7-9 sub thing isn’t good for the game.

Players like Spence go to places like Spurs thinking “I’ll get a few minutes here and there and break in” but in years gone by any player with ambition wouldn’t have gone there.

Hence why you got Juninho at Boro, Le Tissier at Southampton and Okocha at Bolton, nowadays they’d just be padding out Man City or Chelsea’s massive squads and believing they were contributing by coming on for 5 minutes here and there to shore things up.

It’s bad for the game imho.

Grealish at City is a prime example too, should be someone’s talisman but is happy enough to start 50% of games for City and just be a member of a very large squad.

Just my opinion but I’m not a fan.

He’s just had a really successful season with forest and got a move to spurs…. You just sound bitter as fcuk
It was obvious that he wouldn’t get a game there though. Never good to see a player go to a club they’re clearly not good enough for purely to become part of a stockpiled system of potential loanees, in an ideal world players would rebel against this system but money talks too loud.

he had some great games early on his career at Boro . Times his head went down and he showed he had a heart like a pea. He was still learning here and he didnt like the area. Forest was a great move for him. His social life improved and with it his game. Great move all round to spurs. Whats the problem?

Do you think spence thinks he was going to become stockpiled system of potential loaners when he signed, or do you think he backed himself to break into the team, given the media talk about him from about January.

There is still time for him to do so, I hope he can turn it round and make something of himself in the PL.

Spurs will loan him out over the next fee season, each time the loaning club paying his wages and a loan fee, they will only need one of those loans at either a prem or foreign team to be a success for them to make their money back. No brainer from Spurs financially speaking, whether they play him or not.
