so what do most of us drive?

Toyota RAV4 here, I had an old Mark 2 which was an absolute workhorse, I bought it just before I moved to Spain for a year, it was excellent for transporting all our worldly goods and handled the foothills of the Sierra Nevada’s with no problem.
I upgraded to a newer model RAV4. (15 plate) I’ve barely driven it as I bought it at the beginning of March just before lockdown and I haven’t worked since!

The Westy is unreal, it's like 10x the grip/ handling of a normal car in the dry, but 1/10th of a normal car in the wet. 200HP and only weighs about 500kg, so that's like 400HP per tonne.

Yeah, that's the only thing about the Model 3, I'm just not sure if I like how it looks on the outside! Performance, tech, battery and handling are all meant to be great, but I'm just not sure on the looks. I think I need to got and drive one. There's a hell of a Tax benefit if I put it through my company too, as there's no benefit in kind on them I think.

I'm not really fussed on build quality, nearly every car is made to a good standard nowadays and I only really stick with cars in warranty.
I was thinking the same about the tax benefit financially the Model 3 makes a lot of sense. You're right about cars being pretty reliable now but I saw a lot of videos of paint flaking off and pretty basic engineering issues with all Teslas. Although the 3 is supposed to be a lot better built than the S and X. I just can't get over the fact it looks so mind numbingly boring. Plus, being a gadget geek I love a good button in a car. My mate has a Cayenne and it's like driving a mixing desk there are so many buttons and levers! I don't think I can get away with a car where there is only one physical button in the whole interior (the hazard warning lights legally have to be on a physical button) if you ignore the scroll sheets.

The westfield sounds amazing. What with them and Caterham still churning out cars, how good must the original Lotus 7 have been? To new have two companies built almost entirely on it's design!

It makes a massive difference as a company owner, they won't depreciate much either, and will be super cheap to run. I can see there being absolutely loads of them around in a couple of years.

Yeah, everyone confuses the Westy for a Caterham, and when you say it's a Westfield they just look at you like you're speaking in another language.

The bike looks great, is that all 105?
I like the sound of that shock in the head-tube, didn't know about that!

I've just sold my B'Twin Triban 500SE to a mate and was gonna upgrade to get a Canyon, but the wait times were crazy, in the end I found this, seemed an absolute bargain for £1,500.

Good machine.
So much variety these days.
New tech is hard to keep up with.
Cant quite yet trust in tubeless tyres - the thought of a flatty somewhere up over the Pennines at night with glue an all that...nah!

28mm + tyres are fashionable now, but my first bike had 19mm Hutchinson white wall tyres! They werent very comfortable and you often dented your rim if you hit a stone [!]

You can put a inner tube in if you want, and if you get a flat tyre on tubeless, that wont seal with sealant, then it's likely your tyre has torn and so wouldn't hold a tube anyway.

Seat Altea; like Dood says, decent amount of leg room and boot capacity, great mpg, plenty of toys (sat nav is especially useful when I go to record fairs) and £35 annual tax. It’s the second one I’ve had; this is diesel, the one I had previously was petrol. I like this more.

Partner drives a VW Eos: she is a poser and a petrolhead. She regularly scoffs at my car, but I take no notice and start talking about prog rock. That soon shuts her up.

I stick with tubes.
Ive had a bike of one sort or another for 52 years, so I`l stick with what I know.
Cheers.

Panemera for the family motor, Mini Cooper for run around and McLaren 570 for fun.

Damn. No-one bit with some light trolling.

Never mind.

5 year old Citroen MPV and 15 year old Astra on our drive.

Might upgrade the Astra when the young ‘un goes to uni next year, as he’s thinking of staying local. He can have that, then in the new world me and the better half could do with one car between us - possibly a Velar.

Golf Gti...yeah I know I'm killing the Earth etc but I've always wanted one so I got one. Love it as well.
