So Lath is a few weeks away....

So what you are saying is the criteria we’ve failed on is “not many injuries”
We needed a huge overhaul in the summer that seeped over into the start of the league. The first six games were written off. We have had half of our squad unavailable and had a few holes poked in the squad threw injuries. We’ve ridden the storm and now on an even field with our squad returning we are on target for a 6th place finish.

Year 2 of the 3 year plan.. when we get to the playoffs there is every chance that we could make it all the way. Ipswich, Southampton, and Hull.. it’s anyone’s game.

Our squad is better than last season, although the league is better this season AND we have more contenders. Top three look out of sight tbf - fingers crossed.

Problem as I see it, is that Lath is weeks away and Jones longer than that.
Makes us very pedestrian and predictable.
We have Sunderland, Bristol then PNE and Leicester both away. I'm thinking we'll do well to get 5 points from those games - just my view, particularly with our dire home record (15 goals in 14 games).
It's been very clear that we needed a CF, even prior to Lath and Coburn's injuries, to not bring one in says to me that we're re-grouping for next season.
Going to make for a very informative ST renewal tally.

Latte Lath - Plymouth - 4 games away
Jones - Norwich - 6 games away
McGree - Bristol - 1 game away
Silvera - Bristol - 1 game away

So.. really we’re looking at Sunderland:
Forss—Crooks—Greenwood
———-—Coburn—————

then for Bristol, Preston & Leicester we have the option of:
Silvera—Azaz—McGree
————Forss————

for Plymouth & Stoke:
Forss—Azaz—McGree
———Latte Lath———

then.. back to full capacity for the last 12(15) games.

3 points, 4 points, 4 points..11 points
52 points with 12 games to go.. 2ppg
24points.. 76 points.. 6th place

Playoff semi vs Ipswich..
final against Hull

Bish bosh bash., we’ve done a number on them!

I don't really think scoring goals has been the issue as we have plenty across the team, what we don't do is defend well as a team, hence why we have conceding lots of goals

I think Azaz will play and be a regular starter for Carrick, maybe in plae of Greenwood for tomorrow?

"if all our players are fit then we are golden."

If all our players are fit we are still a striker short.
Probably why we have never seen Coburn and Lath as a pair.
Late on when chasing the game would have been a great option.
Another striker would have given us so many different options.
Also Coburn could have had his hernia op months ago and be back fully fit now.
I hate people using golden like that

I hate it when people don’t pay attention to our team our players or our games.. then they froth at the mouth.. generally saying that we need to play two big lads up top!

I overheard one of our coaches getting schooled by a fan on how we couldn’t and shouldn’t play out from the back. I won’t say who it was..

But he was very graceful.

Let’s not right off the team just yet. I think we’re forgetting the players we’ve brought in (Ayling and Finn) plus we’ve got Sammy and McGree returning.

My biggest hope is getting O’Brien back into the mix as he gives us quickness out of midfield that we really have missed. Greenwood can play on the right in place of Jones also — he’s showed that recently.

Finally we have a decent midfield and with Hayden back up to speed we should be able to create plenty and hopefully score. We could have a grandstand finish to the league.

8 points from 5 games? DWLWD

I agree wit Boro Mart's list except for a CF we can go a little higher than £4m, if he meets the other criteria, say up to £6m
