Silvera

I know this will go against the self appointed oracle's on here but just perhaps the team we have doing our recruitment are actually quite good at their jobs.

Just putting that out there.
Not really oracles maybe fans seeing that players weren't up to being thrown in at the deepend and not being up to speed or ready which might aquat to being not good enough at that point.

By the change in team I think we / oracles were right which Carrick has also found to be right

You see I don’t mind people offering balanced views like- “needs time to settle in” “ “looks a bit out of his depth at the moment“.
But let’s not pretend that’s the kind of thing a lot of people were saying. It was rubbish like “stealing a wage” “worst player I’ve ever seen” “league two at best”. They’re all direct quotes.
Completely over the top unbalanced knee jerk nonsense.

Really pleased for him. Does go to show how him and Rogers were thrown into the deep end a bit too early. We didn’t have a lot of choice though and I’m sure Carrick would have preferred the gradual introduction that we are now seeing.

Silvera always had the ability to score that type of goal he scored these all through preseason and against Huddersfield in league cup. But I feel him along with Engel Rodgers Latte were thrown in the deepend before they had the coaching under their belts of the system we play. As a consequence our results did suffer but through subbing them in games their confidence has grown and they have flourished

It’s just encouraging to see players, who looked out of their depth initially, finding their feet and doing well.

A few fit that description.
Given our model should it not be expected that new signings look a little raw when first put into the team?

We are signng players that we hope will improve over time and with games and by that measure they won't look like the finished product from the off.

Sometimes they will look great, others they will look way short.

The real question early on is whether they look like they have the basic attributes to build upon.

Try EMLA, a friend states it is effective

Who cares? Board nonsense, It'll be different again next week

I think he got more stick than he deserved at times. Same with Rogers.

Yeah they have struggled at times and probably still will, it’s fine to acknowledge that but some stuff was over the top. You could see snippets of quality from both. Tonight’s goal is an example.

Young lads still learning their trade. Time will tell what level they can achieve but we need to be patient with players if the model is to develop young talent.
