Should we be worried about Denmark?

Respect the game plan & execute the performance..

No semi final will be easy though as ever first goal may be crucial.. prefer our squad to theirs..

England were very fortunate to draw in Copenhagen too. Wednesday will be a tough game against a team with clear identify, a system of playing that the players like, a team that is hard working and a side massively motivated against England, like all Scandinavian teams.

One of the only mistakes made by Southgate and the coaches so far is attempting to turn the Scotland game into just another game. It's not another game for Scotland and England got the emotionally side of the game wrong. They can't afford that against Denmark.
 
Southgate has shown all tournament that he has learned lessons from the past. I think this is no different.

Croatia passed us to death and their big names used their big game experience to see them through - even coming from behind.

This time we have the players with the big game and big tournament experience - we have a fresher team as we've used the squad much better and a more balanced team (and a much tighter back line).

It will be tight, but this England won't be complacent. They want it as much as you and I do.
 
This game won’t be as easy as some are thinking. We need to respect them considering they beat us at Wembley (no crowd) only 9 months ago…

They did, but we were down to 10 men from the 31st minute and they only scored through a dodgy penalty.

It's bound to be a tough game nonetheless.
 
We’ve been so comfortable so far I think we’re due a nerve-shredder.

You never get to the final of anything without one game that goes right to the edge so I’m expecting both semis to be full of drama.

Denmark have been fantastic and are there on merit. I think we’ve got too much for them and go into this with more expectation than hope. But I also think Italy are a class above everyone left.
 
I think England will win a match they are favourites for because they have better players, playing at home with a strong team spirit, tight back line and belief.
Italy or Spain will be a much bigger test. I hope its not Italy.
 
Dane's have maybe played their best football against Russia and Belgium but let's not forget they have a lot of top players in their ranks but you could say that they were beginning to show signs of wear and tear in their last game against the Czechs. this will be another tough game for England nonetheless, where control will mean everything in terms of winning the game.
 
I mean, if games were won on paper, I’d pick us all day. It’s knockout football though, anything can happen over one game, They have enough good players for that to be the case.

they’re not in the semi final for no reason, although I will say if people think England had an easy route, Denmark’s was even easier. They’re a very decent side.

I guess it depends how you look at it, they scraped out if the group, losing 2 games, then got fixtures against some of the most average sides you could wish to meet in a knockout stage. So maybe they’re even being overrated? I do think they’re a solid side though and not to be overlooked.

Also I think they looked knackered in the second half of the Czech Republic game the other day. I’m sure the adrenaline of a semi final will pick them up, but if we can get an early goal and pressure them, then I think the exhaustion may creep in again.

I’m confident we can win it, but I see how they’re a threat. It’s not like Ukraine, the only way they were going to win was if we had a shocker.
 
They’re a good team but not world beaters.

Dolberg is having a good tournament but he’s not faced anything like our defence, he’s had an average few seasons.

They are essentially a midtable PL team, capable of pulling off a shock but still very beatable.

Not sure I agree with that. Germany tore apart Portugal a week before we beat them. Do you really think Denmark could do that? That Germany team was still stacked with champions league winners from the last 2 years. Nowhere near as bad a side as people make out, just not as great as some German sides of the past.

Denmark have shown great spirit and are a solid side, but the reality is they have faced one real decent side in the tournament and lost.

I know they may have a sense of togetherness due to what happened in their opening game, but at the same time, They’ve only really beaten sides you would expect them to beat . So it’s hard to really judge if the Eriksen incident is a factor, or simply they just got a decent run against sides we pretty much knew they’re already better than.

Good points made and they also played well against Belgium until De Bruyne came on and class told against the emotion
 
It will go in to pens this game. I think we will come away with the win. Its meant to happen at Wembley !!!
