I was thinking must be summat else going on because as far as ive read all thats changed is he has come out as gay or seemingly forced out - which i think should be considered a hate crime if it already isnt.

Exposing someone’s private life maybe tawdry but it isn’t a crime of any kind, he came out before he was exposed, no worse than a hookers cocaine scandal of. Angus Drayton.
 
His agency have now dropped him.

This is the tip of the iceberg, he’s finished as a TV personality and about time too.
 
The media have had the story for quite a while but the super-injunction he applied for only expired today, hence the reports and explains why he left This morning last week.

Also some suggestion he knew more about his brothers recent issues i.e. what he publicly ackilweged he knew and what he stated to the police didn't accord.

Regardless I can't see any way back for his career after this, but the next obvious question is who at ITV knew about this relationship?

Listen im no fan of schofield but the story at the time was he came put because he compelled to as it was either from him or the party threatening him. Forcing someone to come out should be a hate crime in my opinion as people have their reasons cor concealing their personal life and it cam he for good reason (maybe not so much in this case as he was lying to his wife). Coming out can cause people many problems and exposing people is usually done to embarrass, shame and penalise people by making their life difficult and compromise their working life. Being homosexual is in no way comparable to criminal activity such as drug taking or procuring people for sex so no, its not the same.
 
Apparently he had a super injunction against the press for reporting about it but its been all over twitter and tiktok for ages because you cant police them.
 
Quite a calculated move by Holly after the queue gate scandal, recognised her only chance was by ditching Schofield.
