It's not just security. Since Brexit, immigration takes a lot longer.I’m not wrong I experienced it returning from the us had to clear security again

I agree with that I’m saying there is also added security as well esp returningIt's not just security. Since Brexit, immigration takes a lot longer.
If you were flying from the US to the UK via Amsterdam, you didn't have to immigrate, just change planes. You only have a security check to cope with.I’m not wrong I experienced it returning from the us had to clear security again
Not if it’s by the bus as that’s almost 30 mins added on esp luggageAll taxiing is factored in to the flight time on your booking.
There isn't.At the Schengen passport control there should be a lane for people with short connections.
I was trying to picture it but couldn’t. There’s an EU and rest of the world but none for short connections. There isn't.
Just been through today, took 1hr 15m from landing to exiting passport checks, which there was a longish queue for.55 minutes between flights, will it be ridiculously tight?
UK to Italy so I think I have to clear internal security again.
If you have a tight connection then the security team will let you through ahead of the queue. 55 mins is still tight. My usual transfer time is 1hr 30 mins but I have done it in less than an hour. KLM are very rarely on time now so you may find that the connection is delayed anyway. At the Schengen passport control there should be a lane for people with short connections.
I might be imagining things or remembering something from the pastThere isn't.
Today it took nearly 90 mins to clear immigration there.Wrong.
Different queues for EU and non EU.
You weren't entering the EU. You were in transit.Should be ok I had 55mins there on the way to Qatar. I made it easily.
Rather that than the 5 hours I had on the way back.
