Sao Paulo F1 Grand Prix Weekend

I like Max and think he's got pure talent - I just hate the win at all costs... I know he is obviously a racing driver... but it's really really dangerous sometimes.... it will end in total disaster one day

When himself and Lewis went off - he took that corner fine 69 times out of 70, yet when Lewis was challenging look what happens

During the race a 5 second penalty would have been given. Toto told Bottas to 'go get him'. He might have had a retrospective punishment in mind when he said that.

I suppose Lewis would have won anyway so a grid penalty at the next race would probably suit Mercedes better?

If Verstappen is shown to have turned into Hamilton then I suspect a much greater penalty will be considered.

This whole thing is starting to become silly, they must have the footage by now and are sitting on it as they know it will cause an uproar.

Yeah I heard that, when he was in know way going to catch Max. They obviously wanted the gap closing hoping a retrospective penalty would be on the way.

It's a simple thing though: Just show us the onboard footage. If Max steers right he tried to run Lewis off the road, if he doesn't then he'd lost control because of a tight corner entry and no harm no foul. Until we see the footage though, it's mega suspicious that he should run so wide, unless he was trying to hit Lewis

Red Bull are the kings of presenting "evidence" to the FIA at opportune moments. I wonder if Merc have managed to acquire the in car footage and are waiting for an opportune moment to give it to the FIA?

That would be quiet funny.

I wonder if there will be an Albon-esque re-enactment with Vandoorne and De Vries running each other into the grass?

🤪
