I think its actually worth pointing out the similarities between AK and Warnock; both took over a team that shipped goals at wrong end of the table and tightened up the defence dramatically.
Both arguably had a similarly talented team both struggled to score goals. The biggest difference though is that Warnocks man-management seems infinitely better and I also think he'll work out the goal scoring problem too.
Given the huge improvement I wouldn't bet against Warnock surpassing AK's achievements here.
Definitely similarities. Both improved most players pretty quickly too.
AKs man management was good to a point. The team spirit we had the season we reached the play-off final is the best I've seen (till now). But I think Aitor's style only worked with certain personality types. If they were the right "type" eg Clayton, Friend, Leadbitter they loved him. Think others struggled a bit (Adomah, Downing).
Warnock on the other hand seems to be able to get on with and inspire pretty much everyone.
