Naming the stands

The North Stand should be The Country Durham Stand. The South should be the North Riding of North Yorkshire Stand (in the 60's).

I absolutely support the idea of the West stand being the Steve Gibson stand. I think it would be very fitting.
I honestly don't get why Rioch would get the honour above others. It starts to get contentious with managers and players. Everyone has their own priority order.

Happy for tributes around the ground, whether that a statue, murals or plaque. Think a wall of fame would be a good idea somewhere

I'm sure I remember there being some talk of renaming one of the stands after Ali Brownlee around the time of his death. I don't know whether it was just contained within the online forums or whether there was some serious consideration of it at the club.

I'd be up for renaming the South stand the Holgate. It's a nice 'back in the day' reference.

Also a good name for the stand the Red Faction occupy (the best thing to happen for atmosphere in years).

I suppose it always would have been the North stand. Yet can't really justify it now.
