I do feel for the Derby fans, imagine if that was our club? Some of us were about in 85/86, but the game is different these days and the sums of money involved infinitely bigger than those days.
Having said that I still support Gibson; Derby cheated the rules and for any punishment or recourse to have any teeth, then the wronged parties have to be part of that.
Gibson has fought long and hard to get to this point, don't forget MFC took legal action against the EFL in order to motivate them into taking action against Debry and his stance has been vindicated.
Taking the individuals clubs out of the equation you have to say that football generally is in a better place after this, because other clubs will be far less keen to follow Derby's lead.
We all want a level playing surface, so to speak, and its leveler now than it was before this case.
