Until we are watching another terrible welcome video then anything is possibleHypothetical and not sure how these things work but… would it still be possible for a last minute bid from Stoke negate everything that has been accomplished on this transfer so far, or are we now beyond that point?
This seems unfair. A fair system would ensure that the teams and players involved become committed to deliver upon certain conditions of the transfer being satisfied. A late bid should not be allowed as a possibility once these other conditions have been satisfied!Until we are watching another terrible welcome video then anything is possible
Something like signing a contract? This seems unfair. A fair system would ensure that the teams and players involved become committed to deliver upon certain conditions of the transfer being satisfied. A late bid should not be allowed as a possibility once these other conditions have been satisfied!
Exactly. Boro should by now already have in its hands a conditional contract signed by both Boro and Brighton. Once any conditions are waived by the buyer Boro, it should become a go.Something like signing a contract?
And what has actually happened?Exactly. Boro should by now already have in its hands a conditional contract signed by both Boro and Brighton. Once any conditions are waived by the buyer Boro, it should become a go.
I don’t know, but one would hope that to get this far…And what has actually happened?
Back to yourWe just couldn’t get that one over the line before the Friday cut off.
It should be now under Boro’s control with no excuse for missing Friday cutoff. We just couldn’t get that one over the line before the Friday cut off.
Going back to my original question then…I don’t know, but one would hope that to get this far…
1) a Boro bid with conditions and ensuing negotiations between the clubs
2) a conditional agreement, with purchaser conditions, seller add-ons if any and upcoming expiry date, signed by both Boro and Brighton
3) player has agreed terms with Boro to satisfy one of the conditions
4) player has passed medical to satisfy another one of the conditions
It’s a respect thing I’d assume there’s s certain way of acting and some clubs abide by it whereas others don’t.Going back to my original question then…
With the completion of 2 above, would it be safe to assume that Stoke or any other club cannot negate this transfer with a higher bid until this agreement has expired through non-completion?
I didn’t know about that one but I guess receipt confirmations have to be integral to the process of completing these transactions. It’s a respect thing I’d assume there’s s certain way of acting and some clubs abide by it whereas others don’t.
Remember ‘Arry hiding the fax we sent over.
So in theory yes but I’m reality who knows.
It's a football transfer you balloon. Have some Horlicks and you'll sleep.Hate how some so called fans take pleasure in other fans concerns and worries. It shows a lack of respect.
Yes Amdy FayeI didn’t know about that one but I guess receipt confirmations have to be integral to the process of completing these transactions.
