What's people views?
Seemingly cycle paths on both sides of the road from Ayresome Street down to Borough Road, speed limits of 20mph in places and very limited parking spaces on Linthorpe Road at a cost of £900,000
Everytime I go down Linny Road, especially on an Evening the existing parking spaces are rammed - where will all these cars now park. The view from the council is a lot of lazy owners are just parking outside their businesses.
Given that a large number of businesses are take aways then I can see car owners just ignoring the new layout and parking outside which ever take away they are using.
"Business owners" describes the area as a "vibrant" part of town - presumably the person saying that managed to keep a straight face whilst speaking.
