Line of Duty (Possible spoilers inside, BEWARE!)

I think he gave her the money as he thinks Corbett may be his son as he had a relationship with Corbett’s mother in Belfast. That would make Steff his daughter in law and her kids his Grandkids?
Also a good theory.

Remember he essentially went bankrupt was it last series or the series before too

So the below spoiler opens a photo that even though this thread has a spoiler warning you may not want to open.

Re: spoiler photo

kate defo survives because there are dialogue lines in the trailer with Kate and jo in the car park with same clothes on but we haven’t seen those dialogue lines yet, with a body on the floor

Carmichael heads AC-9 and AC-9 is Osborne/H's pet. Dot was
Kate knew she was been setup, why else would she take the gun to an 'off duty' meeting? Also believed as mentioned that surveillance was still happening. Carmichael is too obvious to be a bad guy isn't she?

I think one of the gunshots was fired from a gun that wasn't seen in the final scene.

What are the rules about firearms? Can she leave it at home (unsecured?) if she feels like it, or must she carry it with her if it has been assigned to her?

In any case, given the murder of Gail Vella and the corruption and OCG involvement, surely you'd have your gun with you pretty much all the time and especially after dark?

I thought this. She'll surely be keeping the firearm on her at all times? It's less likely, though not impossible, that she'll be offed on the hill. She's got to defend herself at all times

Not sure. Do detectives have 'on duty' and 'off duty' times? I don't know. Just seems odd that you'd be able to carry a firearm for a personal meeting.

Not f its for protection. If it was a standard issue fire arm then yes you'd have to check it in at the end of your shift but not if you've been given one to defend yourself

Just realised the photo of the copper DSI Thurwell who is in Spain is James Nesbitt. Hope he doesn't make a personal appearance.
