Line of Duty (Possible spoilers inside, BEWARE!)

I noticed when Steve met with Nicky, she said, "is outside alright?"

Shows some of the difficulties they've had filming during Covid. There's been some moments in this series which have looked a bit odd, and you can tell how they've had to try and work around it. I think they've had to shoot some scenes not face to face then piece them together, for example.

Seems that the relative of Jo Davison’s is John Corbett. There’s a picture in Jo’s flat and one in Steph’s home that has the same woman in both.

Yes. The woman in the photo is possibly Anne Marie Mcgillis who was the birth mother of John Corbett. She also had an affair with Hastings when she was his informant. Which goes back to what I posted yesterday that Corbett’s DNA was discovered at Davison’s flat. Hastings is also related in some way to Corbett possibly father and now Davidson hence his reaction.

As for Jo my theory is she has a relative in prison, possibly her sister which is what the OCG have on her. She knows that if she doesn't cooperate her relative gets it. Hence her reaction when she heard about Farida in prison and why Ryan mentioned to her what happened to Lakewood.

Thought the same about the sniper
But on the bullets not penetrating the van. Had a re-watch when I got home from work to check what I thought I saw last night. Just before the bullets hit the van the person shown shooting was using a Sterling Sub Machine gun. I have fired one on the range once . But have been told by people with more expertise they don't pack much of a punch.
That is my theory. ;)
Also they are machining them themselves. May be of lower quality.

Ignoring the sniper shot which was ridiculously far fetched that was a great episode .

Ooo wer! Getting exciting now. First of all (for the Carry on fans) did Hastings really say “Carry on Chloe”. Secondly, supposedly Jo fancies women but is that caused by her having “runs of Homozygosity”? Thirdly, notice the suggestion of the Stephen Lawrence murder case. Oh, and Ted has to retire due to Regulation... A19, DEFINATELY!

Mother of God!

Will that was a cliff hanger. If you ignore the ridiculous idea that Kate would have gone to the rendezvous in the first place.

Also, inspired by DCI Carmichael I'm definitely going to start any meetings I have with a new team "in case, for some inexplicable reason, you don't know who I am..."

She went because jo was under surveillance, but Carmichael pulled the surveillance operations, Kate was going to leave when she found this out

Kate knew she was been setup, why else would she take the gun to an 'off duty' meeting? Also believed as mentioned that surveillance was still happening. Carmichael is too obvious to be a bad guy isn't she?

I think one of the gunshots was fired from a gun that wasn't seen in the final scene.

I had to rewind the scene where Steve told Ted about Jo being related to Tommy Hunter about 10 times. I didn't have a clue what Steve was saying after he said, "that's not the worst of it..."

Why has Ted been giving Steph Corbett loads of money? Is it because she's his illegitimate daughter?

Does he feel guilty about putting Corbett in the position they ultimately killed him?

It because he got her husband killed? He feels guilty for letting the OCG know there was a mole.

Sorry randy, didn't read your reply!

I think he gave her the money as he thinks Corbett may be his son as he had a relationship with Corbett’s mother in Belfast. That would make Steff his daughter in law and her kids his Grandkids?
