Liam Roberts having medical today

So then Erimus, are we saying in about 4, 5 or 6 years time, we'll be on our 1,000th Boro first team player ?

And how many Liam's have we had ?

Nick Pope joining Newcastle opens door for Darlow to leave. If his destination is Boro might explain the departures over the last couple of days.

@Pear-Drops, I would think my stats will be different to the clubs
My stats on each player if he plays more than once for the Boro he will be given a different number each time, the club may use his number the once, so the figure could be a lot less

And how many Liam's have we had ?

As far as I can see, we've never had a Liam.

We've had William Agnew, William Campbell, William Edwards, William Harris, William Woof and William Kokolo.

Some of them may have went by Liam as shorthand, Kokolo definitely didn't though.

The club have posted the first interview with him on the website. He seems absolutely star struck by the whole experience, and doesn't seem to quite believe that it's happened and he's here. He genuinely seems over the moon.

Good interview. Looks absolutely delighted the lad

Love that interview. Great opportunity for him. He’ll work with top coaches and whoever comes in as number 1 should be a good keeper for him to learn from. Who knows, in a season or two he could be our number 1 in the Premier League.
