Is anyone else loving the heat?

I love a bit of warm weather but this is a little over the top, haven't slept properly since Saturday and it's starting to tell on me, never imbibed so much water either - I think this latest puts me well over a gallon today.

We never get this sort of weather for a prolongued period, but its not pleasant to work in, unless you are inside an air conditioned building.

My main concern is for our animals. 3 cats and a load of guinea pigs are all sweltering and unfortunately they don't want to be hosed down (tried it with one cat earlier and he wasn't too pleased). Imagine not being able to take a full body fur suit off in this. Jeez.

No it's sh_ite and is exacerbated by knowing it's a result of us fist-f***ing the planet for the last couple of centuries. This isn't just 'a bit of nice weather', it has sinister implications. For all of us. Regardless of all that, I can't stand stupidly hot weather under any circumstances. Roll on autumn 🍂

Those stating that the extreme heat is a net positive must be pretty selfish people. The disadvantages of such temperatures are blatantly obvious.

Just got back from Redcar, as it’s the only place I can walk my dog and keep him cool by absolutely drenching him. People still in the sea. Queue for Pacittos stretching out longer than the Spence deal. Good times being had by all.

Absolutely glorious. Long live the ☀️

Your in the minority.
Sorry to point this out.
Still it’ll all be over tomorrow

It had pro’s and con’s. Great to spend time with my son in the garden, he absolutely loves the paddling pool. Downside is the sleep situation, we’ve had to go for a drive with the air con on past 2 nights to get him to sleep.

One things for sure, I much prefer summer to winter.

What’s wrong with being in the minority? It’s rather freeing. ☀️

Also, I reckon all those still on Redcar beach would disagree.
I would argue they are lucky enough to be near a beach. I’m 70 miles
From the sea.

I’ve felt nothing but uncomfortable in this disgusting heat all day and, quite frankly your post annoyed me.

For someone who talks about their mental health a lot, you’re quite quick to jump down other peoples throats. Apologies if my post annoyed you, there’s a block button you could use to ensure that doesn’t happen again.

I wish you all the best!

Let’s be honest here, It’s mint for the majority of us here in the U.K. to see some actual sunshine for a few days. We have pretty crap weather for the most part for the vast majority of the time. Even this exceptional heatwave has only lasted a mighty two days. We will soon be back to moaning about the wind, rain and cloudy skies as per a normal British summer

Well quite. And for someone who struggles with mental health I’m not gonna apologise. Guess you don’t. Lucky you.
