I wondered that, he sounded more brainwashed with his response.

Brainwashing is normally used for things which are bad, but if it's used for things which are good (or much less bad) then bring it on.

HART and other groups like that have been brainwashing people into it being anti-vax, covid denial etc, we may now have to resort to brainwashing them to bring them back to reality.

I don't even think it's that corrupt, not the vaccine manufacturers anyway, they (a lot of them) had a decent fix for this within a couple of months. Making profit from helping people isn't a crime, and we would be up **** creek without them. AZ did it on the cheap compared to Pfizer, and morally a better way (at cost), but they did a worse job of it (albeit still a good job). Some like Novavax haven't even got there yet.

Big pharma gets a bad rep, and they do some strange things, but there are others who do far worse and get less than 1/10th of the flack. Cigarette companies, oil companies, fast food, pubs, junk food manufacturers, exploitation, worker abuse, child labour etc. We all still use such companies and wilfully ignore it, and most give them a lot less grief.

Tory implementation/ control is at best corrupt, at worst massively incompetent. I think I'd rather they were corrupt and doing a good job, than incompetent, but I think they're probably corrupt and incompetent, not a good combo.

Cases likely will continue to rise, until cases hit a plateau relative to the control measures, vaccination rate, public activity etc. The idea is to stop the peak being higher, or slow the rate of increase, and to get the conversion from cases to hospitalisations lower.

Just because something doesn't stop, doesn't mean it's a failure, it's not binary, it's an economical/ healthcare balance. If they wanted it to stop dead, they would weld everyone's doors shut for three weeks (which they won't do of course).

any measure will always take 6-8 weeks to be apparent in the data.

What will be the possible solution in Austria should cases continue to rise after 4 weeks of the unvaccinated been 'restricted'?
