I don’t like Argentina

Yeah, everyone’s going on as if Netherlands did nothing wrong. Was a game that spilled over the edges from both sides, if Netherlands won on pens I expect we would have seen similar reactions from them too. It’s just football, love it.
I feel like if you love Argentina you accept them for all of their glorious shithousery anyway :ROFLMAO:

I don't much mind who we play, or don't play, so long as we keep winning.
I feel really good about our prospects and the way our team conduct themselves.

Did you see the way Netherlands went on during the game and especially the shootout? They absolutely deserved that, if it was the other way round they would have done the same too
In situations like that, you can see what you want, and as said above, neither team covered themselves in glory. The situation when the Argentinian brought down the dutch player and then blasted it into the dugout should have resulted in a red - A yellow for the initial foul and a yellow for kicking it towards the subs. This should have then been followed by a red for Van Dijk for throwing a player to the floor during the resulting incident.

The ref was awful and should not be allowed to referee at that level for some time.

Argentina were far worse in that game imo, and the ref just amplified everything, he was too biased especially in the original 90 mins. Messi not getting yellow for clear handball was ridiculous. He would have been off 'cos he got another yellow - game changed.

Too much cozy chatting between the Argentine players and the referee which never looks good.

The player willfully smashing the ball into the Dutch dug-out deserved all he got from van Dijk in my opinion.

The Argentines have absolutely slated the referee after the match, which is funny considering they got away with plenty.

Emi Martinez claimed the ref wanted the Dutch to win.

Pretty sure that was two different players. The foul got a yellow. Not sure about the kick into the dugout but with Jonathan Pearce as commentator you rarely know what's actually going on.

Having a spanish ref for Argentina was wrong anyway but given they are captained by la liga greatest ever was madness.

Far far too cosy

Spanish VAR as well

Their fans though - best in the world? The numbers, the passion, the noise ( that song that is apparently about Maradonna and his parents in heaven looking down on Lionel -what?!)
Magnificent.
