Glastonbury 2023

I only realised how good Elton John is when I saw him live at Newcastle not very long ago.

He is outstanding, one of the all time greats.

He played at Darlingtons then football stadium about 15 years ago. It was about 200 yards from my house, so I sat in the bath and listened to the whole blooming thing. Very good too.👍
Not many people can say they've been entertained by Elton John whilst they're having a bath.
🤔

I know he's old, I know he's a legend but the music is so tight and he unfortunately just can't do it anymore, he's miles off it's actually pushing his guests out of key.

You are right that age has caught up with him but this will still go down as one of the greatest sets ever seen at Glastonbury, few performers can bang out hit after hit like Elton, or play the piano like he does, he is a master showman.

I’m not a great Elton John fan but I’m enjoying it. Heard him sound a lot worse and the crowd are enjoying it.

Putting on a good show.

I'm not really an Elton fan but everyone of the songs he has sung I've heard before. All are enjoying it (and I am more than I thought I would) so that's a result for me.
