different views already exist in balanced programmes. Like it or loathe it BBC, Sky, channel 4 they all ask for people from both sides to come forward and put their views on, and then to validate their stance rather than just back it.Agreed. I still welcome a different view
Yes it's called the "ignore" functionCan we get rid of these spambots? They are bad enough on twitter
Look at the poster who said Southgate had picked the wrong team before a ball was kicked. He was proved wrong. This is a message board where opinion may differ, it's not trolling to have an opposite view. Can we get rid of these spambots? They are bad enough on twitter
Just how/when did ‘woke’ become an insult? It seems to me that to be ‘awake’ to issues affecting other human beings is a good thing - maybe I’m wrong!Wait til the right wing radio stations launch to saturate the MSM bias.
Did they mention the word woke by any chance
Woke is only in insult if you're a backwards right wing nut jobJust how/when did ‘woke’ become an insult? It seems to me that to be ‘awake’ to issues affecting other human beings is a good thing - maybe I’m wrong!

I think it's a jibe towards virtue signaling and selective liberalism of what some would term stupid lefty Doyle's,Woke is only in insult if you're a backwards right wing nut job
Convenient labels for the hard of thinking. E.g. criticism of someone like Gary Lineker (indisputably a pretty wealthy man) who has the audacity to suggest that we might help the poor or other minorities, criticised as "hypocritical" because everyone knows you can't be a "socialist" without giving away all of your worldly accoutrements...virtue signaling and selective liberalism
More a case of you can't tell other people how to live their lives when a person like Lineker has no idea what its like to live close to the poverty line. Just like all the other elite footballers who deem it appropriate to signal their politics when in reality they are living life at the other end of the spectrum they claim to empathise with. A lot of elite sports people not all.Convenient labels for the hard of thinking. This ones pretty well programmed for a spambot. Someone mention BLM to see how that algorithm worksI think it's a jibe towards virtue signaling and selective liberalism of what some would term stupid lefty Doyle's,
you just didThis ones pretty well programmed for a spambot. Someone mention BLM to see how that algorithm works
Yeah this is one of these weird things isn't it? Oh But Linekar has money so he can't talk about poor people. And he's a rich white middle aged man so he can't talk about minorities. Funny how the "FREEDOM OF SPEECH" brigade are very selective over who the want to speak freely.Convenient labels for the hard of thinking. I know how the Brexit bot algorithm works. This ones pretty well programmed for a spambot. Someone mention BLM to see how that algorithm works
I never got the argument that you can.be wealthy and believe in socialism either. The problem these days is the polarisation of left and right with neither willing to listen to the other, the average Joe blogs like myself are sat in the middle getting called by both sides. I'll stand up to whatever opinion I don't agree with but it gets tiresome.Convenient labels for the hard of thinking. Freedom of speech means you can critise opinions not restrict them, so lineker can have an opinion, others can call him out over it, ipso facto ,nothing wrong there.Yeah this is one of these weird things isn't it? I'm not affected by the war in Yemen, or oppression of ethnic minorities, fortunately (in this case at least) I aint wealthy so it is OK for me to speak about these things, so I would say this is merely an attempt to silence someone with a platform and influence to address thousands?he's not affected by some of the issues he speaks about so people think he's a hypocrite
No point really talking to Spambot but I agree the "not affected" by things is such a weird comment when you think about it. It shows how some people think exclusively in their own selfish little bubble.I'm not affected by the war in Yemen, or oppression of ethnic minorities, fortunately (in this case at least) I aint wealthy so it is OK for me to speak about these things, so I would say this is merely an attempt to silence someone with a platform and influence to address thousands?
