much has happened, little has changed. I guess that's why silly season tried to excite things with Horner the sex pest.

Still at least WEC is exciting this year, currently watching both the 1812KM of Qatar and the Red Bull tour of Bahrain.

Qatar far more exciting

Saw the FP2 times & thought 'ooh' this season could be interesting. Watched the start until the first pit stops & have now turned off.

It’s nice to have consistency and certainty in life sometimes. As well as the Boro being ****.

Same here. Was really hoping for something different this year. Its just a continuation of last year.
Turned off with Verstappen into a lead of 15 seconds in no time at all.

No new car regs until 2026. So unless there is a miracle then it is RB for the next 2 seasons.

Racing on a Saturday is a bit weird.

Fewer teams / cars this season. Says a lot about the sport currently. On a downward trajectory.

20 cars on the grid and has been like this for about 10 years.

I’m not sure you can say it’s on a downward trajectory, sport is more popular now than at any point in its history

Feel that Bahrain is one of the better circuits, corners 1-4 can create some fantastic racing.

Ultimately RB have build the best car, not sure what the sport can do about that. Unfair to slow a team down because they are the best
The FIA did just that to Mercedes constantly though. However, we know Max & RB get away with murder.

I thought it was a great start to the season. Nothing better than seeing that Redbull disappear off into the distance with Max at the wheel.

You could see in FP2 that RB had the race pace no matter what the Mercs did on a quali simulation.

Is it unfair though? I watched the WEC season opener yesterday when I realised the f1 was going to be the same old turgid RB rest.

They have balance of performance to keep things interesting. Equalising cars to an extent to allow clos racing. It's much more competitive though. After nine hours and 50 minutes of raving 2nd, 3rd and 4th were separated by a second and a half. It made it way more exciting than the f1

My mistake. Thank you for the fact check.

I still feel like the sport is at a low ebb mind. Most races are just a 200m procession behind one driver.

The sport seems to be hanging on the hope that Horner will get the boot.

The tv coverage is fantastic mind. Spectacular, and worthy of a more competitive field.
