Favourite Scottish Boro Player

Gary Hamilton does a little shimmy, the Middlesbrough fans go absolutely wild. Loved him. Great to see him in so many replies.I sold him some nappies once at a supermarket I worked at. Also John Hendrie and Bernie.
Love that Kowalski, that has to be the post of the day for me :)

I don't see Jim Stewart mentioned here, a reliable understudy to Jim Platt (and far better than any keeper we have had for a few years).

My top 5 (6):

Gary Hamilton
John Hendrie / Bernie Slaven
Graeme Souness (although as with others I was probably too young to appreciate him..... I also rememwber being soured by his Liverpool departure)
Barry Robson / Willie Falconer

I was thinking of Jim Stewart, our record signing GK, I liked Jim, met him at a former players reunion, massive hands like shovels, not a patch on Jim Platt who John Neal thought would replace him

Recall him saving a Liam Brady penalty at AP in a 5-0 Boro home win

Just off players i saw, and im not counting Morrison cos he's as Scottish as i am which is not very much, it has to be Barry Robson. I saw Hendrie but i was too young to remember him, so Robson gets it but maybe he only stands out because the rest of his countrymen who joined around that time were all rotten but yeah Barry Robson for me.

Barry Robson shouldnt even be spoken in the same sentence as the other Strachan players brought over, he was class for us, scoring some terrific goals

Christ I feel even older after that post than I did after a day power washing yesterday:)

Souness….one of the best, if not THE best player, I’ve seen play for MFC

Hendrie…always reliable and often brilliant

Robson….greatly under appreciated by many fans and tainted by the other Scots that Strachan places around him.
