I'd hope so. They've always been one of our biggest rivals. It's just how it is. I'd liken it to Man Utd Vs Arsenal or Liverpool Vs Chelsea for example.

I said that WW2 era chants are offensive and should be stopped, but there's nothing wrong with a sporting rivalry.

I then said you don't like football and that I wasn't surprised that the only reason you're posting about it is to cringe at your country.

None of that is false.
 
ST, my mam was hard left having been brought up in the 20's and 30's. She was a documented war hero she utterly despised the Germans go on tell me she was a racist.

Where did the word racist come into it? I think you may be projecting some of your own personality into this conversation. Don’t worry you’re not the only person today to make things up about things I’ve said or done.
