Roberts got a fair bit, seems to be getting it at derby too..fans saying the same stuff(at least they were last week).
 
Spence is a young player who is badly out of form and for his own sake, as much as the teams, could do with a little spell away from first team action, a lot of decision making in football is down to confidence and at the moment that would appear to be rock bottom with Spence, no player loses form on purpose and its up to Spence to work hard and try and get back into the first team picture, he's currently a weak link in the team and playing badly and making little positive contribution can't be helping his mindset. Hopefully he'll come back better than ever but shouldn't be near the first team just at the moment.
 
He'll make it in professional football but shouldn't be in the first 11 at the minute. He needs some time benched and bring him on for cameos if his performance in training warrants it.

I do despair of some of our fans
 
Lower championship player at best on current performances, he's been very poor for a while.
He was the main player at fault for the goal we conceded today, and I'd say he was rightly hooked at half time.

I'm not sure he's done enough ever to state categorically if he is a decent player out of form or a poor player playing at his ability. He's only really had about 5 good games in his career, and maybe they were him playing above himself. 🤷‍♂️
 
Stand by most of my comments in this thread, he was poor for a while whilst with us, after he burst on to the scene with some good initial performances.

But clearly a change of manager and scenery has brought out the best in him, he'll get a big move if he carries on like he does.
 
Hope he continues this form for rest of the season, should give both him & us more transfer options..

He's on form, he has both the ablity and physical aspects....his issues are all in his head. He may sit on his laurels again and not play to his best again

Nope it doesn't, I'm hoping Arteta liked the look of him today, maybe he fancies going back to london. We can bump the price up if they get involved and get an unhappy player out, and a nice wedge in. I'm not convinced he will ever reach his undoubted potential due to his attitude.
 
Hes clearly enjoying it there and as good as he was today i wouldnt swap him for Jones. Hes not going to want to come back, the best for all parties is for us to get a good price for him.

Weren’t Everton and Wolves were interested at one point? His price tag must be significantly higher than £5m now!
 
When they scored he came from no where and dived on the group celebrating like a misile and head butted someone 🤡
