Darts

Love watching the darts each winter - but we were saying the same about how awful the crowd has become - feel they are too drunk to remember anything more than 3 songs and they rarely watch the darts.

Would really like to go at some point but the crowd puts me off.

Been to a few Ally Pally sessions and can walk there from home!!

That said not been this year as last year found the boorish behaviour of some attendees deteriorate over previous years.

You used to get silence at that Lakeside when the darts was in play. Some of the players who made the switch struggles to adapt at first and often wore ear plugs

Attended by groups of 'lads' who just get smashed and have very little interest in the darts. Same crowd you'd get at a Kasabian or Liam Gallagher gig.

I love the darts and would really like to go, but I know the crowd would just annoy the hell out of me.

That Yaya/Kolo song needs to get in the bin!

There used to be brilliant nights when they held the BDO at the Coatham Bowl, Redcar. The atmosphere was brilliant and right across the region, you would find the dart players practicing in some obscure pub or socialising with the locals afterwards.
Went a couple of times to the Coatham Bowl to watch the UK open back in the 80’s, wasn’t that popular back then, had a slot on BBC2 I think.

Luke “The Nuke” Littler playing tonight. Was brilliant in the World Juniors Final a few weeks ago. Only 16. Will be interesting to see how he steps up!
