Honestly think he pretty much plays like that the majority of the time, we just happened to have 7 or 8 others also performing well for once.

Today his strengths were massively evident, in particular in the first half where he played probably 6-8 defence splitting passes and was involved in most of our damgerous attacks.

His weaknesses were not so evident. There'll be weeks the opposite is true.

Have to be fair to B-G here... there were quite a few posters who were much more dismissive of Barlaser at the start of this thread and at least he has acknowledged some of his strengths (even if he does come across as a bit mealy mouthed sometimes).

Barlaser had a very good game today. The killer pass he made to Engel, who then put it through to Rogers for the goal, was exceptional. If he could maintain the standard of today then he would be a great asset. Let's give him a bit longer eh? There's a good player in there somewhere.

The entire team was excellent and deserve massive credit.
