True, but even with him scoring, you could tell Utd were so so poor when he was in the team compared to when he wasn't in the team.
He may have scored 15+ goals last season, but they would have been far better without him. This season has highlighted that even more so.
Jesus at Arsenal hasn't hit the dizzy heights of what Ronaldo does when it comes to goalscoring...but my goodness, he offers much much more outside of just goals. And because of that, Arsenal are looking fantastic as a team.
I remember the year France won the World Cup. Giroud was absolutely pivotal to that team and yet he didn't score a single goal during that tournament. I don't even think he had a shot on target? But it didn't matter because everything else he did benefitted the team.
Goes to show scoring goals aren't everything (although scoring is the hardest thing to do in football).
