Remember when he rejoined Man U last year or whenever it was and there was all that guff about him being a great role model for the younger players.

Ooooh he really 'conducts' himself well. Ahhh see he doesn't ever have a dessert in the canteen, proper professional, ohhhh he's such a model pro.

He'd probably be more open to considering retiring if Messi did. As it is he has a number of records Messi can catch and his ego will not like the thought of that.

One of the reasons he's desperate for a champions league club I reckon.

So he's in a bit of a dilemma. He wants champions League football for his personal records. He'll also see most clubs as beneath him. Not sure his ego could handle turning out for anything other than a super club.

But it seems pretty clear no genuine giant wants to go anywhere near him. They might if he was willing to become a bit part player, but his ego won't allow that either. And if any were remotely tempted before he's probably made their mind up for them with his behaviour.

The interesting thing for me is if he goes to America or the Middle East.

He'll score a lot of goals, but it would be the first time there would be a question marks about whether it's comparable with the opposition Messi is playing at domestic level.

Yup.

Would also really require him to accept he's not at an elite level anymore. He might not have many other options mind.
 
Good on Man UTD for going in tough on him. He's embarrased himself and made this into a big circus. Maybe one day he'll look back and realise how much of a spoilt brat he's acted.

I'm not sure where he goes now, any big club wou;ld be stupid to go near him after this fallout. Especially after he "supposedly" loves UTD.

About the state of the facilities like the gymn and the kitchen. United We Stand have been saying the owners have neglected the stadium which is becoming obviously shabby with leaks and rust in the structure. Couldnt care less about the Ronaldo.(y)
