Cristiano Ronaldo

I half expected it to be rubbish TV as Piers has absolutely plastered it all over his social media last 24/48 hours to soak all the viewers up and cashed in on the publicity and attention.

All the little snippets Piers has posted prior to 8pm tonight are the only things that have been of interest. There's little else. He knew exactly what he was doing.

Both are coming across as very unlikable blokes...which hasn't come as a surprise...

I notice Ronaldo didn't train today due to an 'illness'...

Is anyone watching this? What a snoozefest.

Basically a love in from Morgan, hardly hard hitting journalism.
Almost expecting Eamon Andrews to make a surprise appearance and say those immortal words “Ronny This is your life!”. 😆

Anyone think this part was toned down because of what happened previously?

I’ve said it again, this is all about giving Ronny the maximum exposure before the World Cup— probably his last, and maybe a perfect caveat into perhaps his next step to play in America.

I feel a bit dirty having contributed an hours worth of my life towards Piers Morgan's income. Don't think I'll bother watching it tomorrow as by the looks of the 'up next' bit at the end, it's just stuff that's already been released.

I completely forgot about Ronaldo losing a child, enough to tip the strongest of people over the edge. Maybe we shouldn’t judge him harshly here he’s been through an awful lot.

Piers has some weird fascination with Ronaldo. I think he fancies him more than Ronaldo fancies himself.

Although losing his kid is sad, Ronaldo was a complete ass long before that

He never did anything like this though, maybe worth giving him the benefit of the doubt. Both him and united need to part ways and move on.
Of course they need to part ways, I called it out as a dumb signing when it happened. There's too much drama around him and has been for a long time, Man Utd were a club that needed stability and professionalism, team work and unity, and he was always going to ruin that.

Agree, they should never have gone back there, I mean who does he think he his? Juninho? 😂 you could tell from the outside though that it wouldn’t work and that’s proven to be the case.

The guy is a parasite. Looked to me like Ronaldo needed some counselling.. both regarding the loss of his child but also the forthcoming decline of his career.

Coaches don’t listen to me, players don’t listen.. etc etc

If he wanted out of Man Utd surely he could have gotten that sorted in January without this Piers Morgan circus. He talks about Gary Neville and Wayne Rooney criticising him to raise their profile etc.. but doesn’t see that is actually what Piers Morgan is doing.

Uncomfortable viewing and exploitative.

Agree with this, the effects of a trauma like this can manifest themselves in many different ways, but often it leaves a sense of anger, which I think is what we're seeing.

Throw in the fact his career, which has been almost unparalleled until now, is waning and is not hard to understand why he is in this particular head space.

Reckon he’ll be off to Saudi in January based on this second part of the interview tonight… or Arsenal.

He’s just called Jordan Peterson an amazing man and a huge fan, confirms exactly what type of bloke I thought he was 🙄
