I'd have Mainoo as one of our top 3 performers so far. I wouldn't be dropping him to accomodate Foden. Both as 10’s behind Kane with Bells partnering Rice please
He's another one who's carried the ball to break lines and look forward.

Love how you put together pens and free kicks as if they're the same :LOL:Palmer -
22 goals, 9 from pens / freekicks = 13 goals from open play
Plus 12 assists = 25 goal involvements
Foden -
19 goals, 2 from pens / free kicks = 17 goals from open play.
Plus 8 assists = 25 goal involvements
So absolutely nothing in it, even with pens out of the equation.
The only difference is Foden was playing with Rodri, Haaland… Palmer was playing with Conor Gallagher, Nicholas Jackson…
Foden. It’s not even close…. yet.
Respectfully i disagree, I'd hazard a guess in 12 months you will be on board the Palmer for England shoutFeel free to hoof if i am wrong
The Spanish manager would have had Foden and Palmer playing.
Possibly one of them. And Bellingham? And Saka?
Palmer is world classThey’re both good players who are capable of fantastic runs of form.
But I won’t change my mind any time soon that Foden has not quite been good enough for England, or that he’d thrive in the same way if he left City.
Now that Chelsea's crazy run of penalties have dried up...and so has Palmer's returns....can we all agree that this question was a ridiculous one?
