You're joking aren't youCan’t argue with you TBF. I think there’s ample time. We could still win it.

Practising a melody on a guitar is not the same as football either. Continually playing the same system won't guarentee improvement.Einstein was referring to closed systems. Football isn't. Think of it like this. If you want to play a melody on a guitar you repeat it over and over and you improve.
I have heard this quote so often used in the wrong set of circumstances.
Manchester United were torn behind the scenes on how to play, according to reports at the time..From the horses mouth in todays presser. Said the system suits the players. I fear he's doomed if hes not prepared to change a system which is clearly not working.
The covid vaccine has made some people very poorly, Brexit didn’t need to be executed so badly, Boris wasn’t as bad as Truss or Rishi, nowt wrong with a bit of flag waving..Carrick doesnt / hasnt refused to change "the system".
Absolute myth.
Made up by anti-vaxers, Brexiteers, Boris supporters, flag waving, council-culture, spivs, chavs, Truss - following, meat eating, climate deniers, Sunlunist deckchairs and Trump conspiracy theorists.
You know damn well its a wind up.The covid vaccine has made some people very poorly, Brexit didn’t need to be executed so badly, Boris wasn’t as bad as Truss or Rishi, nowt wrong with a bit of flag waving..
THREE FIVE TWO
Carrick needs to wake up and get his big boy pants one, Woodgate need to give him a shake, get Warnock back, get Wilder back, Pulis and Monk.. two points in seven games!
Who on earth is nodding their head to Carrick throwing a bunch of newbies to the slaughter?
Let’s get Leo back and Cattermole.. we are a bunch of fannies!
The analogy is wrong. Plain and simple. It is often used in the wrong context.Practising a melody on a guitar is not the same as football either. Continually playing the same system won't guarentee improvement.
In fact I would say the Einteain quote is closer reality of football. If something isn't working, doing it over and over again isn't going to make it any more likely to succeed.
I'm not seriously suggesting bringing back Wilder, Pulis and Monk. You know damn well its a wind up.
Less of it or you`l be off the Christmas Card list
Playing a bad melody on your guitar progressively better through practise is still not a treat for the ears. The analogy is wrong. Plain and simple. It is often used in the wrong context.
Interestingly enough, einstien probably never said it.
we should have played 3-5-2Since we left the European Union - the Boro`s gone down hill !!!!
How could we ever find player like Morsy and Luongo?!?!?!McKenna at Ipswich (who was Carrick's #2 at MU) is using the same system as us, and has for the first 7 games (6 wins).
I think the difference is they have two very defense minded CMs (funny that they're Morsy and Luongo) - so they're very balanced in playing 5 defensive players and 5 attacking players.
** assuming they only attack down one side (like we did with Giles vs. Smith last season).
We have Hackney and O'Brien who are two of our better players in my opinion - but are they defense minded? - Is pushing the two CDMs forward leaving too much space to be exploited out wide?
- Fans have been giving Engel a hard time, but he's losing 1 on 1s against wingers... Should he be left exposed in 1 on 1 positions as often as he is?
- WBA gave Smith a hard time - and got into plenty of space on that side too - eventually leading to him being sent off.
I think we'd suit more of a 4 - 5 - 1 (or 4-1-4-1) but it would mean giving one CM the job of staying defensive. O'Brien played a similar role for Huddersfield.
Smith - Fry - Lenihan - Bangura

Forss - McGree - Hackney - Rogers
