Cameron Archer

dunno what to think tbh I think I would prefer if there was no window at all and keep what we have be very worried that we upset the momentum we have atm with a couple of dodgy signings or new bodies upsetting the team, if it ain't broken and all that!
Everybody will look to strengthen and improve in th window that is the nature of football, some players will leave, some transfers work out and some dont, IMO if the player can play football in this team and the way Carick wants to play they should be able to come in and hit the ground running.

Lets no judge on past transfers and keep the faith in the club to get it right for every bad signing we have made we have had plenty of gems too, Nsue free, leadbitter free, ayla 500k, friend 300k, adomah 1m, clayton 1.5m plus butterfield, dimi free, crooks 1m, Kike 2.5m, ramirez loan, amorbietta, negredo all have proved good signing in the past.

Kind of agree with you. I've come to the conclusion that signings, managers or players, are to some extent a lottery because so many stars need to come into alignment for them to be successful beyond the talent and ability of the individual.
The way the TEAM is operating at the moment whoever comes in has to earn the right to play, they can't simply walk in as a starter. The situation needs careful management and I'm hopeful that MC can handle it.
The previous 2 seasons we've been in good shape entering the New Year but our January recruitment just seems to have destroyed our momentum with stuff that was working put aside in an effort to accommodate new players who simply haven't worked out.

Much more trusting of Football Insider, though they've got things wrong recently.

A big shame that it didn't work out for Muniz, can only assume he'll be heading back to Fulham now.
I had huge hopes for Muniz, its a real shame. Archer Is a quality signing though, the fact we've beat most of the division to him is testament to how well we've been doing

Right footed forward who can play wide right / wing also .
H1.75m so more of a Dwight Gayle type , happy with this one.

I just hope Nottingham Forest don't try to sign him! The other archer in that neck of the woods became some what of a legend!

Great signing this.

I'm surprised Villa aren't giving him minutes.

Ings is clearly out of the picture and Bailey is being play up top with Watkins, but it's obvious he isn't a striker.

Well seems like no messing about if Archer is in, beats waiting until 11pm on Jan 31st ( or whenever the shut off is), to scrape a new forward.

Wage-wise it might be Muniz out and Archer in will negate each other. So no impact.

I've not seen loads of him but looks quick and a good finisher. As above, probably spells the end for Muniz.

I think he'll slot into the loan striker role personally, first choice probably something like this:

Forss
Akpom
McGree

Archer
