This is a statement of intent. He was excellent last season and Villa rate him highly. I'm pretty sure 95% of the Championship want him so for Villa to apparently be 'keen' on him coming here because us as a club and Carrick have impressed them is an absolute win.

I'd imagine 6 months then depending on the league maybe an entire season?
He is absolutely class, a rotation option with Forss and Watmore. Brilliant

Great signing if true. Great for a PNE and you can see by some of the twitter comments many other club fans are saying 'we should go for him'.

I'm guessing Muniz is returning to Fulham? This will put him further down the pecking order.

Probably right mate, just sounds like they're really keen on it happening for his development and I can't see him being considered by Villa as ready to lead the line by summer.

Maybe why Villa are reportedly 'keen' Danks role is defined as something along the lines of individual player development isn't it? So he's maybe highly thought of enough to bring on his development?
