Excites me that. Forss has potential as a Winger to me, he's fast. Never stops running. Judging from a few of his crosses the last few games he's not bad at that either.
I know Archer can play anywhere across the front. Perfect

Gazette reporting we initially tried to sign him on a perm. Then a loan with a perm option. Villa turned down both as he's on a new long contract.
Don't know if it's true. Apparently we are not keen on more loans and want to add some permanent signings. I guess it would have fit the 'model' of young players to develop and move on at a profit.

Excellent to see. I'm glad we tried for a permanent deal at least.
I reckon that's Muniz gone now, I also think Mathew Hoppe could go out on loan
I'd be happy with Akpom, Archer, Forss and Watmore with potentially Hoppe as 5th choice.

There'll be times we have to play to weaknesses of other sides.
Slow center half's it makes sense for Archer/Forss. Big, Tall and Strong you'll get Crooks in there.
Archer can play across any of the 4 attacking roles, Forss can play RW and Striker, Akpom can play SS and Striker, Crooks can do 3 of the 4 roles up top, Watmore can do all 4.

So clearly he's impressed in the prem with his cameos. Looks rapid. I always like that in a forward.

Well I certainly feel a lot more confident now.
We will have beaten a number of clubs to sign him as well, which is a testament to what Carrick has done since coming in.
I think he'll be bedded in rather than coming straight into the team, would like to think Carrick wouldn't want to disrupt the morale of the team by doing that.

yes, that's good. I would suspect that promotion would mean we go for him again on a permanent with a bit more financial muscle to flex
