Boro fan recorded making racist gesture at Leicester

I’d also add that if she’s a season ticket holder it would do no harm to speak to people who sit near her at the Riverside to find out if she’s ever said/done anything as unacceptable as this before. If she has, then it should be pretty easy to draw conclusions about this. As I say, jarring how at ease she appears when making the gestures.

Assuming this moron understands what happened can we also drop him a banning order through his door too. (This is his response to the statement on the MFC Facebook page).

Yeah it’s terrible that the Club doesn’t want to be associated with racist scum but for poor old Anth it’s not like the good old days!

It’s sad that these people stand alongside us every Saturday 😞
That same person posted in response to Ernest Goult's conviction years ago. Now I know that the conviction was overturned on appeal but this person's comments are appalling. Yes they stand alongside us.

The likelihood is that it will be racist gesture but I agree that a thorough investigation needs to be done first. Hopefully they will be able to trace the victim as she's clearly interacting with someone and with the CCTV as clear as it is in these modern stadiums it shouldn't be too difficult.

I wonder if Peter Reid was sat in the home end 🤔.

I am going to disagree with you a bit here @r00fie1. None of us should condemn someone without a full investigation. We have a legal process that needs to be brought to bear. Not just jump to a conclusion, even if that conclusion seems obvious.

I think that is all newy is saying. And I tend to agree.
No. But I take your point. (y)

If you search his name on Facebook under posts, he’s regularly being tagged in highly questionable conspiracy posts by some other bloke. It’s not proof he’s that way but you would think he would block the guy if he disagreed with any of it.

He also has a mutual friend who only organises away game transport through their account so there’s a chance he was at the game too.

It was clearly a back and forth between the two sets of fans.. the kid didn’t say anything racist.

It hasn’t been found that the woman was being racist either..

Hopefully this can be fully investigated and the correct punishment applied if there has been wrongdoing.

I think if there really was some weird innocent explanation to her actions we would have heard from her by now.
Hard to believe she isn't aware of what is being said.
Not sure what time the clip started doing the rounds on twitter.. you would think that somebody who knew her would have let her know by now.

Bad news travels fast as they say.

Her first response would be to the club.. or maybe the police? I doubt we will hear anything until tomorrow at the very earliest.

It could take months!

I find it interesting that focus has shifted to newy. I do wonder why that is.

Furthermore, there is a legal tenet that we are all presumed to be innocent until proven otherwise. Are we all suggesting that the same legal tenent should be abandoned because we are all angry? Is that what we are all saying?

Perhaps we should abandon courts, judiciary, the rule of law and due process because it suits us.

I presume you’d have liked us to sign Mason Greenwood then? He was never found guilty in court after all.

Innocent until proven guilty is a legal tenet like you say.

You are more than able to make your opinion on things, but just not able to lock someone up for it.

I do not see any way that someone shouts "monkey" and then "want a banana?" And it not be considered racist - even if done innocently it is a racist enough behaviour within the context of Racism at football to be punished and condemned independent of any investigation.

Targeting it at a single person will probably make it a crime.

I actually think it has taken away from the condemnation that should have been front and centre on here today with the posts that have said let's wait and see what an investigation brings up.
