Barlaser seemed to asking for runners constantly today when he had possession, sometimes he was justified to do this but sometimes not. If he expects Crooks to make runs beyond Millwall defenders, I think he will waiting a long time.

I thought it was Ok in the first half but started to make mistakes. Quite neat and tidy but didn't hurt Millwall.

I thought Hackney was more of a threat and created more.

When Carrick had the choice he played a loan player ahead of him, it's not like he's been here three weeks and has played 4.5 games, he's been here 8 months and even when a player in his position has been out injured long term, he's not been trusted to have a run in the team. I'm pretty confident if we had another senior centre mid in the squad he'd be playing ahead of him again now.
 
He was playing cross field balls 10 -20 yards that were being intercepted, he did a Marseille turn but didn’t go through with the ball. He was leaving us exposed to the counter attack without offering anything creative in the final third.
 
Hackney and barlaser both equally awful. Rogers Jesus looks league 1 standard. Crooks shouldn't be starting. All in all poor performance no movement, no passing ability, pedestrian slow **** football.

I wonder if it’s because he is a geordie and can’t comprehend he is playing for Boro!
He needs to step up and improve as he is playing for his Boro career.
