Abramovich

Seems that the tickets only went on sale to 'UK Away scheme' holders yesterday (NOT to Season Ticket holders). It's a UK away ST for the premier league. You would think UK Away scheme would have to be capped at the smallest away ground size, so that would I think be Brentford at 2,000.

Of those, it's likely that some will have balked at the idea of a 5:15 match at the other end of the country. So maybe 1,500 sold?

Of course Chelsea would already have bought all 4,000 tickets in advance. I would expect they will find some method to give the tickets away to get rid of them.

I guess the players out of contract in the summer willl walk away as they cannot have renewed contracts and they cannot be replaced due to the transfer embargo? Their defence will be quite shaky.

Abramovich will be allowed to sell Chelsea with a special licence, Sky News understands

Sky News understands from a government source that while the sale of Chelsea is not technically permitted under the operating licence granted this morning, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport is open to working with the club on a new bespoke licence that would enable the sale to take place.
This would be conditional on a number of things, including the fact that none of the sale proceeds would flow to Mr Abramovich.

Just read this post on there:

"So the UK government will destroy an entire club from top to bottom because of 1 man. The tens of millions of supporters, the players, the staff, the coaches. All totally innocent and they get to watch as their club is destroyed."

or...

So the Russian goverment will destroy an entire country from top to bottom because of 1 man. The tens of missions of innocent civilians, the elderly, the disabled, the ill children. All totally innocent and they get to watch as their country is destroyed.

Which one are they more bothered about?
Tens of millions of supporters FFS.

Fckin pisspot club for the Surrey types before Putins mate showed up.

This will be like a sale from administration, I suspect someone is now going to be get the club very cheaply.

Told from a Chelsea fan they meeting with the U.K government later. They'll be sold I imagine before our game and any profits will go to Ukraine, as previously indicated by Abramovich.
