Abramovich

I'm not an expert In FFP, but from previous threads on here some members are much more knowledgeable on it. So how will this effect Chelsea on FFP? as my limited understanding is that part of FFP is that a owner can contribute X amount towards FFP. How will this work say at the end of the season with the prospect of limited income for the foreseeable future?

If you cant do a financial transaction to 'aid' chelsea, how do they book a hotel, order food, hire a coach or book train tickets for the first team away games, who is allowed to sell them fuel, or supply them electricity for floodlights and heating
They're allowed budgets for fulfilling fixtures. There are specific clauses relating to home matchday costs and covering travel to fulfil away fixtures.

chelsea got 4,620 tickets which went on sale yesterday to there UK away scheme supporters.
season ticket holders can buy today
general sale tomorrow
same prices as ours obviously
coach travel is £10

Yeah but has that changed now with this sanction.

I am sure most will have sold yesterday, so what are they going to do take them back off people.
It is Boris and his cronies we are talking about trying to organise this sanction.
**** up and Brewery spring to mind., they are all talk and no action.
There will be 4620 Chelsea fans at the Riverside.

So looking at chelseas financial status. They lost 194m last year, 40m profit in 2020, and 100m loss in 2019.

They're going to become a selling club if this assset freeze last beyond 3 months

I'm guessing the club shop will have to shut, because the can't be selling kits and scarves etc?

If they get lucky and beat us, I'm guessing the Wembley semi final will have an empty Chelsea end.

Basically they have ceased trading.
Presumably that also means they cant sell tickets for away games?
Away fans cant buy tickets.
Does that breach Premier League rules?
Will their results be null and void?
Will we get a "bye" in the FA Cup?
Does it mean they will be deducted points?

Who effectively 'owns' them now? The Government?
Abromich still, it's an asset freeze, it hasn't been transferred to anyone else yet, including the government. But that is probably just a matter of time. Hopefully the government will take ownership, sell it for a couple of billion and then donate the money to Ukraine for whatever use it deems necessary including the purchase of fighters, NLAWs or to pay a foreign legion.

Interesting that it's all about what they can pay out. I wonder what, if anything, they can get in? Not much point paying catering costs if you can't sell food.
Maybe they will have to sell food and beverage at cost, maybe they purchase it but have to give it away?
