The equivalent points needed for the play offs. I can't imagine getting anything from the next game. With 12 wins in 33 games (in all comps) and 3 in the last 12. It's starting to look like abject failure, considering the top two was the aim. These new players obviously, looking at last night will need time to bed in. The defence is a mess and the system has clearly failed. I used to be really optimistic but this season has been dreadful considering the expectations.

That has us winning 3 in a row. Not a chance of that I'm afraid.
 
We suddenly need to put a run together that hasn’t been achieved all season. Just can’t see it happening.
 
I think 70 points will get us in the play-offs this season looking at how the table is panning out.

26 points from 16 games.
7 wins and 5 draws or 8 wins and 2 draws.

Either way, we are going to have to substantially improve from recent form.

Very disappointing to be in this position again in February though. It's just been a continuation from last seasons disappointing performance. Stagnation!

I have absolutely no confidence that we can beat any of the top 4 over 2 legs anyway. 3 of the top 4 will be promoted.
 
70 points is a good estimate of what we need for 6th place: that's 26 points from the final 16 games: 8 wins, 2 draws, 6 defeats. Last season we had 7 wins and 4 draws (25 points) from our last 16 games so it's certainly possible.
 
The only thing in our favour is that the teams around us and competing with us are as inconsistent as what we are .. A little lower Coventry and Millwall are on a bit of charge with 4 and 3 wins respectively on the bounce so will fancy themselves - so it it's going to come down to which team can string a few results together.

Imagine if Millwall get in there with all our rejects and we mis out. 🤣

Top two was never realistic the aim. 4-8th best squad
