5 managers, 76 new signings

Wilder was am additional problem as he would start a ruckus in an empty room. He had a choice when he didn't get his signings knuckle down to the task, or behave like petulant príck guess which one he chose. Things do need to change all-round but getting rid of wilder is a giant step forward
I get that you have some issues with him and yes he's not perfect, who is, are you? And yet this is the same Chris Wilder who had an outstanding record at every previous club in terms of gaining promotions and who knows if he'd been backed with signings he wanted, the same may have happened here. It's very easy to criticise managers but I think it's more unpalatable to consider the fault may ultimately lie with our club.

Every single manager we have will have issues with recruitment. That’s the same whether you’re Klopp, Warnock or Rob Edwards. Even back to McClaren, he was p*ssed off the club wouldn’t sign him Stephen Appiah.

As soon as we appoint someone, you’ll have people pouring over every word to see if it ‘such and such’s signing’ or whether the chairman hand-picked himself. And if we’re winning, the new manager will take the credit until the results change. When we start losing then he’ll blame the people above him a la Warnock and Akpom.

The fault is at the club I agree 100% with you it's been like this for years. However the club are trying to address that with the likes of keiran Scott and the new chief scout Jones. You can't put a long term strategy in and then have a manager with a polar opposite perspective.
