I see that theres a club in germany and for 18euros you can have a card board cut out of you in your seat !!
supporting the club, safely
Whats wrong with just waiting, like every other industry has to do, until it is safe to have supporters in the stadium and then finish the season? There may have to be 2 games per week for the foreseeable until the calendar gets caught up, but so be it, I’m sure the clubs will cope with playing football.I understand all the arguments against but it will be months if not years before fans are allowed back in stadia. The entire game could collapse around us if we just say “I’d rather have nothing at all than games behind closed doors (when safe)”. Clubs will fold if no TV revenue (or revenue of any kind).
Surely we all want there to be something that resembles what we had before, after? Or are we saying we just want the professional game to collapse and disappear other than the handful of clubs that are so wealthy they can probably afford to pick up where they left off?
What about the 45 minutes of each half though? The ball is disinfected at half time as well apparently.

I don't understand the arguments against it at all. Let's deny ourselves any semblance of joy, dig a hole and crawl into it for three years by which time they will have hopefully found an antidote. Germany has people who complain like every other country. I'd imagine they would be outnumbered by those happy to have some entertainment back in their lives. I'm sure you'll just gloss over their views.
Surely suspending football until fans are allowed back helps the smaller clubs as they don't have to pay running costs without any turnstile income?
TV only football will only work at a level where broadcasters can get subscriptions, ie: first and in some cases second tier in the big European Leagues.
