“No to ghost games”

Well, they’ll have a better chance of surviving if they can generate revenue, rather than if they’re effectively mothballed until a vaccine is found, with huge wage bills to still cough up for.
I haven't once mentioned mothballing the league until vaccine is found, I am against them starting again (at all levels) whilst we are struggling to get the correct PPE for vital services.

But the question you keep on avoiding is why did the league two chairmen vote to scrap the league, what do you know about their finances that they don't.

The points I’ve made above are not directly at you. I didn’t say you had suggested that, but many have.

I also never questioned the League Two decision.

The only thing I’ve contested on this thread is the idea that football (in the future) without crowds is pointless. It isn’t, in my view, if football is going to resemble anything like it did before.

It will only work at the top level and then people will lose interest. When Man U recently played abroad, I sat and watched 10 minutes of it and turned it off due to the lack of atmosphere. How long do you think Sky and co will pay top dollar for games that no one is watching.

Edit: I'm going to bed now. Stay safe and we can chat again tomorrow.

They won’t have to pay appearance bonuses, staff wages or retain players whose contracts have expired.

They will also have medical expenses if it is played out.
They also won't have any incomings at all. They'll still have to pay the staff and players, or they'd leave?
