Time for Gibson to sell up

Club needs some life breathing into it, to suggest otherwise is laughable. Whether that it getting sold or new investors brought in with a view of a full takeover in the future I don’t know. It’s all bit stale and has been since 2008, barring those couple of years under Karanka.

I thought the "life breathing into it" was the appointment of the sporting director and complete overhaul of the scouting department? No matter what we have tried we have not come up with a way out of this division.

As fans we need to face some harsh realities right now, we can not compete with the bigger Championship clubs anymore. We don't have the finances to compete with clubs that have cash rich owners or parachute payments. We also don't have the luck needed to play the best XI we have every week to build some cohesion on the pitch and try and compete that way. This season in particular has been an absolute disaster on the injury front!

We are an outlier though aren’t we? Long standing local chairman.
Southampton, Leicester, Ipswich, Leeds, West Brom all getting along nicely with different investment models
