Jeez. I remember why I keep having to put certain People on ignore now and again. Bizarre.
What do I expect them to do? It's a bit of an odd question. I expect them to honour the result of the referendum.
If you really don't think Brexit is the major cause of our rapidly declining country then I really don't know what to say.....Brexit has not completely changed our way of life. It really hasn't. COVID is something that has completely changed our way of life. Brexit has not.
That's irrelevant. Scotland is part of the UK. The UK voted to remain.
Can handle other people's viewpoints?Jeez. I remember why I keep having to put certain People on ignore now and again. Bizarre.
I'm not saying that. I'm saying for such a momentus decision ten years is far too short a time.Okay well, good news, they have. Scotland is a part of the UK still. Nobody on the independence side has changed that. There's been no declarations of independence, no fighting, no throwing a load of tea in a harbour. The result has been honoured.
But you can't just pick a moment in history and say right we've all made our choices, nobody's allowed to try and change anything fron here on.
Sometimes yes, sometimes no.Can handle other people's viewpoints?
I think housing and the environment are having a far greater impact and are far more important to me than Brexit. I have a different life to you. Different things impact different people. If you really don't think Brexit is the major cause of our rapidly declining country then I really don't know what to say.....
What is it you find offensive?Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
If there is a vote and it does not go your way, it is not acceptable to hold a vote again and again and again until you get the vote you want. It is undemocratic.
Also do you think it is acceptable if you lose a vote to hold it again and again until you get the result you want?
Do you think it is acceptable if you lose a vote to hold it again and again until you get the result you want?
Brexit is negatively impacting the economy by double the amount caused by the pandemic. Every year. That's just fact.I think housing and the environment are having a far greater impact and are far more important to me than Brexit. I have a different life to you. Different things impact different people.
I mean I'm not saying they shouldn't exist. I'm saying I disagree that there should be another independence referendum, so soon after the first.I think you're overegging this point. It's not some dictator forcing a referendum on their populace. The SNP have been cleaning up in elections since 2015. What can anyone expect them to do, other than pursue their agenda? You can't say they hide what they're about, it's abundantly clear that they're pro-independence. They have manifestos, they get elected, they have a mandate.
It's certainly not democratic to insist no more referendums for 50/100 years or however long, irrespective of which party and policies people in Scotland vote for.
I'm not saying that. I'm saying for such a momentus decision ten years is far too short a time.
And that holding votes until you get the answer you want is undemocratic.

I'm thinking beyond the economy. Not really interested in debating about Brexit. I will say that my personal circumstances mean that there are other things far more important than Brexit to me.Brexit is negatively impacting the economy by double the amount caused by the pandemic. Every year. That's just fact.
It is incomprehensible that you can say covid has had a greater effect.
I actually emailed them earlier in the year asking for them to put up candidates in England as I would like to vote for them.Fair enough, I've maybe conflated some of yours and Jedis posts in that case. My apologies.
How much does it cost to run these referendums by the way? Its hard enough isnt it without wasting 100s of millions again
