Sounds like it

She tried to claim they were a repressed colony like Quebec.

Verdict is in

Scottish parliament does NOT have power to hold referendum

Bit off by the SNP trying to compare Scotland's current situation to Kosovo's under Serbia.

Kosovo declared independence after Serbia attempted to commit mass genocide and NATO intervened.
She’s absolutely obsessed with it.

So where do the SNP go from here? That's 80% of their manifesto destroyed in one ruling...........

This was the expected ruling, even by the SNP.

It's just being used to energise the independence cause again by portraying is as the UK denying Scottish self determination.

She's said that the next general election will be a de facto independence referendum, and if the SNP get 51% of the vote, they'll take that as an endorsement of independence.

To whom though.

As I say she’s nuts.

Not really. Back to pushing for a referendum via Westminster. Or couldn't they just call an "advisory" referendum, like we had for EU membership? Once the results in it's hard for politicians to go directly against it.

The ruling probably plays into their hands a bit tbh. They'll frame it as "how can it be right that the English have more say on Scottish indy than Scottish do?"

The SNP will easily get over 51% of the vote, Labour are pretty much wiped out in Scotland - not really doing any major rebuilding - and as with England there will be the protest vote against the Tories.

So IF Starmer gets in to No 10 the sh*t sandwich he will be dining on just got bigger 😬😬

They've never got over 51% of the vote before, and they're mired in issues right now.

Their best ever performance was 50% in 2015, and that was riding the tide soon after the referendum, with Labour in the doldrums and the Tories "betraying" the vow.

They got 36.9% in 2017 and 45% in 2019.

The polls currently have Labour at 30% in Scotland, their highest in years.

As expected her responsible is as predictable as ever it’s a case of heads I win tails you lose

She added: "A law that doesn't allow Scotland to choose our own future without Westminster consent exposes as myth any notion of the UK as a voluntary partnership & makes case for Indy".

At least she’s dropped the brexit myth this time anyway

Continuing the trend with the "b*stard English" rhetoric the number will continue to rise. Like I said the protest votes against the Tories and Labours demise will move voters to the SNP. In my humble opinion.

It will like trumps cult reality is long since an irrelevance.

Comparing Scotland’s situation to Kosovo and their war crimes is truly shocking.
