A lot of people wondering how they are going to put food on the table at the moment. Maybe a little more humility is the order of the day.
a standard car any one including a dacia whatever can do nearly a hundred miles an hour why any one needs a car that will do 150 miles per hour is beyond me.
posing possibly?
No. Maybe you just don't get ita standard car any one including a dacia whatever can do nearly a hundred miles an hour why any one needs a car that will do 150 miles per hour is beyond me.

Depends on the vehicle doesn't it? It's a hell of a price for a 3 year old Porsche.£35k for a vehicle - you can buy a small house for that in half of Teesside.
I try to buy something that depreciates less then £1k a year over its first 8 years.
ST get an RX8, put 3 grand aside for an engine rebuild and you will have the best car you will ever drive, barr none.Time has come to start looking at a new car and I honestly can't decide between a sporty fun car and a dull electric for sensible reasons.
However I'm going to test drive a 718 Boxster at the weekend. Fully loaded, looks great value.
Has anyone ever had one? Any experience? issues to look out for?
I had considered an RX8 a while ago. They are too dated now though, and not really "modern world" with that engine!ST get an RX8, put 3 grand aside for an engine rebuild and you will have the best car you will ever drive, barr none.
Where do you have this FUN?

I love people who say "they speed limit is 70". Makes me laugh. The speed limit is 70 mph any faster is illegal whether your caught or not ,any car that accelerates fast is a lethal weapon in the right hands or the wrong ones.
Some cars shows /car reviews are stupid why do i want to watch people driving round in supercars that are made for the stupidly rich?nearly every review is for cars over £35000 when the majority of us pay about £8000 on average.
You're wrong. I was looking for advice.Loathe to post on this thread, but it looks like the OP got both the argument he was looking for and the chance for a "humble boast" too.
@turnoffsaysthestar - you're giving him exactly what he wants...

I got it too, so thanks to Red as, Jonny, laughing and artie for your input. Shame some people had to spoilt the thread by arguing (and not about cars)
oh YOU want to start an argument do you? That's an interesting hypocrisy. If only the internet had some forums about cars you could turn to...

What does that mean?love people who say "they speed limit is 70". Makes me laugh.
Think you're exaggerating the tone of responses. What's this cobblers about being amused at the speed limit?I feel I have to say how pathetic and puerile some of the responses have been to this OP, effectively trying to shame him for wanting to discuss sonerhing that he's passionate about.
Some people need to be careful they don't hurt themselves when they fall off their high horse.
The new board has encouragingly seemed more mature in its tone and content, but this thread sadly reminds me of the worst side of fmttm.
